What Carbonle is

A free daily puzzle for education and entertainment. The carbon-footprint figures are representative averages from third-party datasets. They show the rough scale of things, not a precise verdict, and they are not advice for regulatory, financial or commercial reporting. Don't rely on them for compliance decisions.

Content and data

The site's text, design and code are ours. The underlying datasets stay the property of their authors and are used under their own licences, listed on the sources page; the methodology explains how we apply them. Share your results and link to pages freely, but don't republish the dataset values as your own.

Acceptable use

Use the site as intended. Don't try to break it, scrape it at scale, or use it in a way that disrupts other people.

No warranty

Carbonle is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the figures are exact or that the site is always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from using the site or relying on its numbers.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version.
